Get the “Best Seat in Town” from acheapseat.com

A Cheap Seat is a professional ticket broker that claims to have the hottest deals on premium Arco Arena tickets every day. They are able to negotiate great prices on stadium tickets and they pass them on to you. They also offer fantastic service in addition to the lowest prices in a nationally competitive environment.

    Dolphin Stadium tickets
are some of the hardest to get from the box office. They sell out quickly. Using A Cheap Seat to purchase tickets from the secondary market allows you to buy the football, baseball, hockey, soccer, racing, golf, tennis, wrestling, and basketball tickets you want!

They are not limited to Dolphin Stadium events only though. They also offer Bank Atlantic Center tickets and many more venues.

When hunting for hard to find tickets, make sure to check out acheapseat.com.

Volusia County Cutting out JV Sports

    Book With ParkSleepFly.com Today!

This is a travesty. Why would we cut out the one thing that the kids truly love about school? I believe that sport builds character, no matter what sport, eliminating it from schools is horrible. I see tons of fat around schools that could be trimmed w/o cutting out JV sports.

I remember my first year of Soccer in High School. My friends and I were all on the JV team and were very good. We actually won the JV championship, it was sweet! A few of us were selected to move up to the varsity team for the last few games, and though we never even saw the field, the experience was life altering for me!

We had to come to the varsity boys practice, fit in, earn their respect, and train as hard as they did. Talk about life lessons learned! We want to take this away from our kids? This makes not sense at all.

See the article about this here: http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Local/2009/1/7/volusia_schools_cut_jv_sports_cheerleading.html

    My Life Just Changed Forever

Today I submitted paperwork to the Florida Division of Corporations that I am sure will change my life forever. I feel that the culmination of everything I have done in my life to this point has led me to this. Today I submitted paperwork thereby officially forming the “Youth Sports Support Group”.

What is the Youth Sports Support Group (YSSG) you ask? It is the path my life has told me to take. The YSSG is a not-for-profit organization that will raise funds in the community to support local sports programs and allow kids that may not otherwise be able to participate, play the sport of their choice.

It is not about baseball, basketball, football, soccer, of whatever sport a child may chose, it is about getting them into an organized competitive environment and allowing them to thrive. The mission statement for the YSSG is:

“Give every child the opportunity to build character through sport”

All my life I have searched for something to truly be passionate about. Those that know me well know that I can move a nation when I am excited about something, I feel this project may consume the remainder of my life. What do I see it doing?

-Provide “scholarships” to those unable to pay league registration dues
-Provide new equipment to leagues so kids can have the best to play with
-Marry leagues with sponsors for teams, signage, and various sponsorship opportunities
    -Provide funding for facility upgrades
-Manage and run fund-raising activities for leagues with little to no manpower
-Staff concession stands to increase funds collected during activities
-Any other activity that benefits the kids of the world through sport

I have to admit as I write this post I am very nervous about this life decision. I know I will face many skeptics, some of them in my own home, but I believe this is what I am supposed to be doing. My players all know that when they are nervous I tell them that is “God’s way of telling them they are about to do something important and exciting”.

It sounds good when I say it to them, but to me it simply leaves a lump in my throat! I believe I can make a difference in the lives of so many children if I employ my strategies properly. Hopefully my plans are sound and my decisions are solid.

Today, I begin a new journey. I will keep you posted on the progress here. If you wish to make a contribution you may donate by clicking the button below:

Thank you for your generous contribution and please pray for the success of the organization.
