    Congratulations Michael Phelps!

    michael phelps

As a former Washingtonian I am proud to say that I knew of this phenom early in his career. Local sports analysts like George Michael featured him and he was a local star long before the world heard of him four years ago. Now, he is a phenomenon. Absolutely amazing.

Rain, Rain go away! Games in the Little League World Series getting rained out. Pool games are good, but the elimination rounds are nail biting!

First fall registration tomorrow! Time to start all over again! I can’t wait!

The National Aquarium would also like to congratulate Michael on his success, but also kindly remind him there are faster swimmers in baltimore ;)

We made a video for him! http://nationalaquarium.wordpress.com/2008/08/15/faster-than-phelps/

Awesome video and great place! I have visited their many times but never realized you had a show like this? Is it new? Or at least relatively new considering I haven’t been back to the area for about 6 years.

Thanks! Our dolphin show is one of our most popular attractions. The Aquarium has certainly changed in the past six years; some of our newest and most popular exhibits include Animal Planet Australia: Wild Extremes, and a new 4-D Immersion Theater.
